What is Basis?
Currently, Elysium Health makes a supplement called Basis, a product designed to support cellular health. Nicotinamide, riboside and pterostilbene are the two ingredients that make up Basis. When combined together, the two are proven to increase and sustain levels of NAD+ in our cells. NAD+ is a coenzyme that is essential to many of our cellular functions. These functions include DNA protection, energy creation, circadian rhythms, and hundreds of others. As we age, our levels of NAD+ decline and those processes can stop functioning.
To ensure that Basis works as intended, Elysium Health put the supplement through a clinical trial.During the trial, 120 adults were divided into three groups. The recommended daily dose of Basis is two capsules. The first group took two capsules, the second took four capsules, group three took a placebo daily. Those who took the recommended dose of Basis during the trial had their NAD+ levels increase by an average of 40 percent and remain there for the duration of the trial. The clinical trial was double-blind and randomized in order to ensure the most accurate results.
Visit Elysium Health website to buy Basis. Basis is sold as monthly subscriptions as well as in individual jars. An individual jar of Basis costs $60. To lower that cost, you can buy Basis in a variety of monthly subscriptions. A regular month-to-month subscription costs $50 per month. Prepaying for a six-month subscription brings the monthly cost down to $45, and prepaying for a one-year subscription brings the cost down to $40 per month.
Elysium Health has also partnered with the tech retailer b8ta to sell Basis in stores. There are nine beta locations in the US. Check one out to pick up a jar of Basis today.
